UPDATE: All three men were arraigned on Drug Trafficking charges but Ian Mossiah took the rap for all three and pleaded guilty.
He was fined $10,000 which $300 was to be paid immediately for him to be released on bail and the remainder is required to be paid in sums of $300 every month.
Charges were dropped against Abner Cardenas and Vincent Aldana.
On Saturday, November 25th at around 7:00 PM, Corozal Police Officers on patrol stopped and searched a vehicle that was occupied by three men at the time, 37-year-old Belizean Taxi Driver, Abner Cardenas of Corozal Town, 21-year-old Belizean Laborer, Ian Mossiah of Calcutta Village, and 25-year-old Belizean Laborer, Vincent Aldana also of Calcutta village.
The search led to the discovery of 3,628.7 grams of cannabis in a knapsack .
All three men were detained and will be arraigned in court today for the charge of Drug Trafficking.
