Reports are coming in that a Police Officer assigned to the San Ignacio Police Station was on mobile patrol in the Hillview Area of Santa Elena Town when him and his colleagues came across a group of children ranging from the ages of 7 to 16 walking down hill.
The officer stopped them and asked where they were going to which one of the children replied that they were going down the hill to meet his Aunt.
But apparently that was not the answer the Police Officer was expecting to hear because he immediately slapped the child that had responded on his face.
According to the child he was hit four times.
The Police Officer was then said to have made the children kneel down and told them that he was in a bad mood so they would be punished for that.
The children’s parents are said to have all made official reports at the Police Station.
One of the parents also said that the Police Officer who is being accused was taken home after they arrived to file the complaint and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.
